I have come to expect great things from Dr. Shuker and I have never been disappointed. After reading this book, that record still holds!New information, follow ups, a writing style that does not talk down to anyone reading the information, and clear, concisely written opinions about the subject matter. Dr. Shuker sticks to the information on hand, and presents it as such. No embellishment, no added hype, and above all it is presented in such a manner that allows the reader to formulate their own opinion on the subject.
A HUGE amount of information is presented in this book, so much in fact that it took me much longer than usual to read it.
I would whole heartedly recommend this, and all of Dr. Shuker's revious books, to anyone who is even passively interested in Cryptozoology. This book has been worth every cent spent on it.

Dr Shuker`s Extraordinary Animals Revisited is a must for those with an interest in natural history and cryptozoology. The Book is well researched, easy to read and is intellectually fascinating.
Kudos to all involved in bringing this classic text back into print--and to Dr. Shuker for substantially updating it. Any reader interested in wildlife, animal anomalies, and/or cryptozoology will want a copy of this volume in his-or-her personal library. Worth twice the price, and then some.
Interesting book.
I love this book! Not only is it long, it has everything in it including Maltese Hammerhead Lizards, the history of the aardvark, feathered desert pythons, and volcano island megapodes. Plus, at the back of the book, there is a reference guide to articles and books. This is a superb cryptozoology book that the whole family can enjoy! (review written by my son, Will, age 10, who was the recipient of this book)
Filled with great info on globsters and rare birds, but the best chapter details out the De Loys ape drama. Much new and exciting info, a great read.
Unreadable. The download looks like it came from a photocopied paperback as it occupies about a quarter of the screen.
